We believe that how a baby parrot is raised can affect the rest if his life and we have adopted a very simple philosophy: work with each baby parrot as if they were going to be our own companion. We never have more babies than we can handle so we can get to know each one’s unique personality.
Our parrots are raised in a healthy, stimulating environment with a focus on good nutrition and proper socialization. All baby parrots are played with everyday. Our babies are abundantly weaned. We begin offering a variety of foods at an early age and the baby is allowed to wean at his own pace. We encourage all new owners to come and spend time and bond with their parrot while they are weaning.
We will work with you to find the right companion and continue to provide free consultations as your bird matures.
Deposits
If you would like to put a deposit on an unweaned bird, please e-mail us. After answering any questions you may have, we will send you an invoice for 33% of the final purchase price of the bird. Occasionally, we will offer a discount for people who put down a deposit early. All deposits are non-refundable, unless we fail to get the bird to you in a reasonable time. If you put a deposit on a baby before it is old enough for visitors, and later find that the bird is unacceptable, you can transfer your deposit to another baby of the same species. We usually do not accept deposits until the birds are 3 weeks of age and have begun the hand feeding process.
We will gladly accept payments on our babies. You may pay as much or as little as you want until the baby is weaned. Payment is due in full at the time the baby is fully weaned. Deposits only hold the baby for 2 weeks after weaning unless prior arrangements have been made.
Special Orders
We work with a large network of reputable breeders. If you are looking for a parrot that we do not currently have “in stock” or breed, let us know. We will be happy to find one for you. Once we locate the baby, we will require a deposit of 50%. We will then order the baby and have it brought to our aviary to finish the hand-rearing process. The same provisions listed under the deposit and health guarantee sections will apply. And of course it will receive the same love and training that our own parrots get!
Health Guarantee
We guarantee the health of all of our birds for 72 hours . Please see an Avian Vet with in that time to determine the health of your parrot. If he finds the bird unfit for sale, we will gladly replace the bird or refund your money at our discretion.
